Obvious yet delicate nose of toasty barrel on the nose moves quickly to ripe melon, lemon cream, citrus oils and dried flowers. Semillon's oily texture and fuller body makes for a most versatile wine with food. Pates, fish in a cream sauce and roast chicken are natural fits. |
