Dow's White Port
Description: | Region Description. A fortified Portuguese wine, is made from a mixture of white grapes grown and processed in the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. Styles range from dry to very sweet. Most styles are aged for no more than 18 months, generally in cement or stainless steel tanks. Wood aged white port is generally gold in color with a dry, nutty taste. It is usually, served cool or cold, often chilled on the rocks with a twist of lime or as the basis for a cocktail.
