| Description: | This Pinot Grigio from the rugged Alto Aldige has a unique aging regimen. One part is pressed directly, one part is in contact with skins for 15 hours, and the third part is in contact with the stems and skins for about 1 year. All of this adds a texture that caresses the steely apricot, peach, and apple fruits. The palate is light and smooth with fruit blossoms that eventually make way for a flinty mineral-driven finish with enticing acidity. |
