Carpineto, located in the Chianti region, uses sustainable farming practices and the latest in wine-making technology to produce this blend of mostly Italian Sangiovese and the balance of internationally popular Cabernet Sauvignon. There's a tomatoey savoriness and dried tea leaf herbal note that accents this wine. This combination of grapes shows the fruity power and bright crimson color of a young wine, yet there is a mature elegance and fragrance found in aged wine. Tannin is light and texture is firm.
