| Description: | This utterly enchanting Riesling by Muelenhof is a lot of wine for little money. In the glass, it has a clear canary yellow hue, with a nose of honey, paraffin, garden herbs, and lemon zest. On the palate, you are treated to flavors of lemon curd, sage, salted peach, lemon, spearmint, papaya and pineapple. There is a hint of sweetness at the very end, but on the whole, rather dry and balanced out by vibrant acidity. This is a light-bodied but intense wine with good complexity and a lasting savory finish. Enjoy with mildly spicy dishes. From the Great 2021 vintage. |
