| Description: | Dry Creek\r\nWinemaker Notes\r\nAfter harvesting at 19 Brix and a whole berry press, we barrel fermented 100% of this wine, using 15% New Acacia wood to build a rich mid-palate and complexity. The subtle hue and aromas of ruby red grapefruit and strawberry introduce the senses to this wine. Melon, peach and strawberry juice explodes on the palate with hints of minerality, vibrant acidity, and a long mouth-watering finish.\r\nVineyard Description: This vineyard is located on Dry Creek Road directly across the street from the winery. It is farmed by Randy Peters, who was born on the property and is named after his late mother, Pauline. It is planted in the famous Cortina soil to a Grenache Noir clone with rootstock 101-14 and Grenache clone 362 with rootstock 1103.\r\n100% Grenache\r\nAbout Kokomo Winery \r\nKokomo Winery is perched on the East side of Dry Creek Valley amidst the 120 acres of prime benchland vineyards of Timber Crest Farms. \u00a0Owner and Winemaker Erik Miller started the winery in 2004 naming it after his hometown of Kokomo,\u00a0IN,\u00a0and decided on a Coastal Cypress Tree as a logo to signify his move out west.
