| Description: | Turley Wine Cellars makes thirty-four wines, the vast majority of which are single vineyard designate Zinfandels and Petite Syrahs, but also a small quantity of this Cabernet Sauvignon. By focusing on old vine vineyards in particular, Turley aims to both create and preserve California's unique winemaking culture. All of Turley's vineyards are either certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers or somewhere in the process, and they use all natural yeasts in the fermentations. This wine has ripe, classic Napa Cabernet fruit, rounded out by the savory herbs and garrigue that are the marks of Turley Estate vineyard Cabernets. Medium-bodied, with great structure and a smooth, texture and long, graceful finish. Immensely enjoyable in its youth, though the wine can easily age for 5 to 10 years as well. |
