It tastes dry and refreshing and feels crisp and lively on the palate. From slate soils, the 2016 Nahe Riesling Oberhauser Leistenberg Kabinett offers a coolish, flinty and very precise bouquet with yellow paprika and crushed stone aromas. On the palate, this is a gorgeously lush, round and elegant Riesling with generous fruit and aromatic intensity. 9% alcohol. This is a generous plush-textured wine made from organically grown grapes that combines a fresh fruitiness with more floral, candied, tutti-frutti flavors and just a pinch of sugar to soften the mouthfeel.
