| Description: | La Vielle Julienne has been a family owned property since 1905, but the property was born on the northern slope of Chateauneuf-du-Pape in the 17th century. Jean-Paul Daumen is the fifth generation owner and winemaker. He remains a committed student of wine; continuously searching for new ideas and curious to the unknown. He is a true believer in biodynamics and believes in the abandoning of herbicides, fungicides, fertilizers and chemical products in the vineyards. He is also a true believer in minimal unnatural additions in the cellar. All wines are certified biodynamic by Demeter. |
