Their whiskies are bottled across a number of ranges, including the Un-chill Filtered Collection, the Cask Strength Collection, and the Single Grain Collection. Signatory bottling, bonding, and office facilities are located in a building adjacent to Edradour distillery, near Pitlochry in Perthshire, which the company also owns. Tasting Notes,. Nose: Coastal brine with fruit punch, citrus, and a salty dash of smoke. It continues with an oily, nutting palate with more fruit and sweet, glazed ham. Yes this is what Pulteney can smell like: orchard fruit, a bit of pineapple, a saline edge, lots of toast, a bit of coconut, mint, shaved oak and spices from the wood. Palate: Medium-bodied, Ginger and mint, then there is a creamy side on vanilla, toast, melon, and wood and wood spice. Finish: The spiciness continues, on ginger, pepper and a hint of nutmeg. There is mint, green melon, green apple. |
