| Description: | 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep dark purple color. Aromatics jump out starting with violets, fresh mulch, green leaves, blackberry black currants, bramble, blueberry. Lighter notes of dried flowers, vanilla, and cedar. Continuing on the palate added notes of black cherry, black plum, dried herbs, hints of red fruit compote, black pepper, smoke, cooked blackberry, and cedar. This wine is dry with medium plus acidity. Velvety, smooth, medium plus tannins have a wonderful tension against full body, unctuous, rich coating to a lengthy finish. Decant to open up the complexity; best now through 2030. |
