| Description: | Bibiana Gonzalez Rave crafts the Alma de Cattleya wines to be high-quality offerings that represent Sonoma County. Alma means "soul" in Spanish, and Cattleya is the national flower of her native country, Columbia. Making wine meant having to leave Columbia for other climates conducive to grape growing: leaving Bibiana to recognize her country, and her passion, in making this wine. Every year, the fruit for this Rose is sourced from some of the coolest areas in Sonoma County, mainly the Sonoma Coast and Carneros AVAs. Sporting a delicate peach and pale pink color, this Rose of Pinot Noir offers incredibly pure aromas of macerated strawberry, rose water, and orange zest. Vibrant flavors of fresh red berries and nectarine combine with youthful acidity to dazzle the palate. |
