| Description: | Resalte de Penafiel's Gran Resalte 2000 is made of 100% Tempranillo, and comes from single estate grown vines ranging from 60-80 years old in Spain's famed region Ribera del Duero. The grapes are subject to a highly selective 100% hand picked harvest. This gem is classified as a Wine Maker's Signature Wine under the D.O. Ribera del Duero, with a long aging of 32 months in highly selected new French oak barrels, with a minimum rest of 30 months in the bottle. "This traditional red is aromatic with tobacco, lead pencil, licorice and floral notes, which give way to a silky palate and flavors of black cherry, mineral and smoke.
