The tannins are bold and the wine has a long finish, balanced by medium acidity.\r\nBlend: 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 4% Cab Franc, 2% Malbec \r\nWine Enthusiast 91 Points\r\nAbout Hestan Vineyards\r\nHestan Vineyards is a picturesque estate located on Napa Valley\u2019s remote eastern slopes. The vineyard is named for owners Helen and Stanley Cheng, whose passion for fine wines and love for Napa Valley\u2019s beauty and charm led them to purchase the property \u2013 a former cattle ranch \u2013 in 1996. They immediately prepared to plant grapes, adding small blocks over the years to take advantage of the site\u2019s myriad of exposure and well-drained soils. In keeping with the Chengs\u2019 commitment to land stewardship, both the vineyard and gardens are sustainably farmed and 100% solar powered. Hestan Vineyards was born from the culinary passion of Stanley Cheng and his wife, Helen. This husband and wife team has combined innovation and passion to create award winning wines. Stanley pioneered hard-anodized cookware in the 1970s and has continued to improve the ways we cook through innovations and he keeps that innovation going through his wines.\r\nOur flagship wine label is named for our proprietors, Helen and Stanley. Our Hestan wines are made by Thomas Rivers Brown. Thomas is one of the most highly respected wine makers in the Valley. He masterfully creates beautiful wines that truly reflect the wines terroir from our estate. The Hestan portfolio contains Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. All of these wines are unfiltered and 100% varietals coming from the Estate Vineyards.\r\nStephanie - Named for Stanley and Helen's only daughter Stephanie. Stephanie, now grown, has the perfect wines to represent her. The bottle itself reflects an image of a silkscreen golden harp, a nod to Stephanie's musical talents. The wines are elegant and lovely, just as Stephanie is. The wines are artfully crafted by winemaker Jeff Gaffner. These wines are comprised of the Bordeaux varieties grown on our Estate Vineyards including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Merlot. |
