From vines that are 25 years old on average, maturation lasted 24 months in French oak, 50% new. The nose shows dark fruit, mint, graphite, molasses and a slight rubber-like note. The palate is sweet, rich and smooth textured and yet somehow not short of vibrancy. It's intensely flavoured and basically gives the impression of being indestructible.
