So for fun let's look at the Reposado; it is the Silver, but aged in oak barrels for an average of six months with the emphasis on maintaining a fresh. clean agave forward flavor profile with some minor oak subtleties to add dimension. The aroma offers green pear, baked citrus, flowers, earthy spice, baked agave and a hint of caramel. The mouth-feel is light bodied with a slightly sweet palate entry that builds on the fruity aromas to include earth and crisp minerals. The finish is warming, pristine and brief. Try it as a shot, neat or in a cocktail. |
