Stagg usually delivers one of the more outstanding aroma-filled noses in the series, and this year is no exception. Palate: The chocolate and sweet cinnamon bark carry over from the nose and overpower any additional flavors that may otherwise be present. Its rich, spicy, and delivers an impactful yet manageable heat that continues to crescendo the longer you roll it around in your mouth. Finish: A quick hit of sweetness to start the finish is immediately replaced by aged oak, leather, and a dose of pepper spice.
