| Description: | Bio-dynamic, Certified Organic. Dry Chenin Blanc from old vines on an east-facing slope in Chaume and Quarts de Chaume vinified and aged in barrel for 12 months. This is the first year they have made the fruit from here into a dry wine and boy is it exciting. Bright, zippy and beautifully textured. There is no real sign of the time in barrel as sparky white fruit and gorgeous chalky scrape dominate the impact. There is energy here that makes you realise the wine will go on and on forever possibly - but is already a delightful, satisfying wine that really makes you think and smile. Tiny production sadly - so grab it while you can. |
