| Description: | The Pullus Winery is located in the Stajerska region of Slovenia. Their vineyards are not irrigated and they practice environmentally friendly cultivation. The perfectly ripe grapes were hand picked and macerated with the skins for 48 to 72 hours which gives this dry "white" its salmon pink color. The fermentation was done in temperature controlled stainless steel and the wine was aged for six months on the lees. This skin contact "white" (more dark pink rose colored than orange) is crisp, fresh and fruit forward. On the nose you find aromas of pear, honeydew melon and nectarine which lead to similar flavors in the mouth. The wine finishes with good acidity and minerality. |
