| Description: | Three friends were traveling through Mexican wine country, where they visited Bodega Magoni which has experimental cuttings of dozens of grape varieties – including an acre of Aligoté. So impressed by the wines, they decided to make a barrel of Aligoté, which is the first and only single-varietal example in Mexico. Aged for 7 months on the lees for weight and a creamy texture, this is a tense, nervy wine with its high, taut acidity. Drink with oysters. |
