| Description: | Established in Gironde since the middle of the 19th century, the Faye family has always been close to wine. They have been coopers, wine growers, merchants - all the wine-related professions - in past generations. It was only after World War I that direct commercialization really started. Today, the activity is split into the commercial department, in charge of searching out and offering ''good deals," and the production of Château Laville with all the winegrower's know-how and passion. Ideally located on the central plateau of Saint Sulpice, the vineyard benefits from excellent soils with a high density of alios, resulting in rich, powerful wines. |
