| Description: | Grechello is the name given to distinguish this Lazio (just outside of Rome) clone from the more common Umbrian version of Grechetto. This Grechello does indeed show an intense minerality of sandy/volcanic soils, bitter skin flavors, 12 months of lees and a great contrast of honeysuckle and jasmine flowers. A real wine with a sense of place, packing enough punch to replace sub in for a red wine. |
