Description: Saints Hills Winery is a boutique winery located in Dalmatia. Winemaker Ernest Tolj is the father of all Saints Hills' wines. Their small army of oenologists and agronomists, together with their friend and consultant Michel Rolland, have grown and learned alongside their vines. Their wines are a reflection of the collective strength of the family, the vineyards, and the winemaking team. Saints Hills Winery strives to showcase Croatia's unique terroir and history through its use of indigenous varieties with traditional winemaking practices, while incorporating the best modern techniques. As they put it: “Wine is our way to let you dig deeper into our culture and create beautiful memories. The truth is always hidden inside the bottle.” This full-bodied, dry Plavac Mali wine is ruby red in color with purple nuances. The nose is full of rich fruity aromas of plum, followed by aromas of Mediterranean spices like thyme and oregano. The texture is complex, layered with fine tannins. The mid-palate displays of notes of strawberry, dark chocolate, plums, figs, and earth. The finish is long with a hint of black pepper.
