| Description: | "viño Autor". This is Not too good to be true. A 2001 Rioja Reserva for under $50 from a producer with deep, deep roots. Borceo was the first winery built in the city of Haro, the heart of Rioja, in 1872. A combination of mostly Tempranillo with Granacha and Graciano added, the wine is incredibly fresh. Figs, baking spice, espresso and just a hint of its age showing in the color. The wine spends 36 months in neutral oak and 24 in the bottle, and this has been kept in the winery's cellar for over a decade. |
