Intense with hints of moist clay soil and bark undertones. Full and steady on the palate with a firm backbone of chalky tannins that go on for minutes. Lot of tension and energy. Vinous 93 Points - "The 2021 Etna Rosso Santo Spirito is dark and dusty in character, yet impossible to resist. It slowly unleashes a core of crushed raspberries, mint leaf and sage. Its silky and refined, with cooling acidity and pretty strawberry fruits complemented by rosy inner florals. A cascade of licorice and crunchy tart cranberry defines the finale, as the 2021 tapers off youthfully tense, nearly puckering the cheeks, yet only lightly structured.
