| Description: | 90% Sangiovese w/ Canaiolo, Colorino, Ciliegiolo. This is a classically-styled wine from Castellina, which tends to yield richer wines on the Chianti spectrum. Expect a medium-full body, with aromas of ripe and dried Amarena cherry, violet, dried herb and earthy, sun-baked clay, finishing on gently grippy large-grained tannins. Ideal with savory tomato & meat sauces.with a dusting of well-aged, hard Italian cheese. Aged in a mix of concrete, 2500l casks and tonneaux. "The drawing with the three flower sellers, repeated on the wine labels, has represented the identity of the wines since 1954.
