| Description: | Nicolas Potel comes from Burgundian winemaking royalty, which got him access to some seriously impressive vines in Nuits-Saint-Georges. His 2021 Domaine de Bellene Vieilles Vignes hails from biodynamically farmed 67-year-old vines on the prestigious north side of the AOC, close to the Grand Cru–heavy village of Vosne-Romanée. \nThese days, it's normal for village Burgundies of this quality to cost triple digits. Potel's peers rightly charge over $100 for similar bottlings (and normally, he would too), but we negotiated a special deal for our members. Only 50 cases of this old-vine beauty made it stateside. |
