| Description: | This is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from the northernmost AVA of Napa Valley. From the foot of Mt. St. Helena it spreads to a dramatic landscape with both steep canyons and serene valley floor vineyards.
"Ruby, blood red, opaque to the core but only just. Aromas of black cherry, fresh berry, the very merest hint of leaf and rain-soaked fresh earth. Wonderful wealth of flavors on the palate however nothing wimpy on this, despite the 'quieter' aromatics, this is a rich, powerful, concetrated, seriously savory, layered wine made from the ripest fruit. The tannins are well integrated already and just beginning to resolve but the wine will continue to develop for another 5 years and hold a further 5-7 years. The savory nature of the wine, almost ferrous, will marry beatifully with steaks, burgers, grills and deep-ocean fish.
