| Description: | Domaine Bousquet Malbec Dulce Tupungato. Vineyards: Own Vineyards in Tupungato, Alto Gualtallary. By the foothills of the Andes at 4000 ft. altitude. The vineyards enjoy a marked thermal amplitude. Gravel and sand soil. Winemaking: Harvest by the end of April when the grape have begun to dehydrate. Fermentation in French oak barrels for 30 days. Alcohol is added to stop the fermentation. Second maceration of 3 months and 12 months aging in second-use French oak. Dark Violete color. Dense, rich, sweet and utterly heartwarming. The nose is fruity with notes of black fruit, currants and anise. The palate is soft and silky with chocolate notes. |
