Description:	"Very good red-ruby color. Knockout nose of black raspberry, coffee, minerals and exotic spices. Silky, sweet and thoroughly ripe, though still a bit closed in the mouth. But this has a generosity of texture that is truly seductive. Grivot prefers the rigor and structure of the Beaumonts, which he says is Catherine Deneuve compared to the Brigitte Bardot of Brulees. Personally, I'd curl up with either bottle. Grivot's piece of Brulees, incidentally, faces mostly south, while Meo's is more oriented to the north." - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous (March 1998)
