Description: | James Suckling Review. Rated 93. A very well-made Amarone that shows good poise and dryness on the palate, with black chocolate, cigars, dark raspberry jam, wax and graphite. Lots of silky, melted tannins on the medium-to full-bodied palate, before an elegant and dry finish. Excellent length. Sustainable. Still needs some time for extra complexity to come through. Drink after 2023. Wine Tasting Notes. A well-structured, complex, elegant, and velvety Allegrini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Doc, with intense ruby red color. It has a warm and spicy bouquet, with aromas of raisins. This wine is traditionally consumed with game, roasted and grilled meats, casseroles, and well matured cheeses. Excellent with hearty dishes and perfectly suited for drinking with Asian and Middle-Eastern dishes. This wine can age for 20 years. |
