| Description: | A partnership between husband/wife David and Sandy Jones, as well as long-time winemaker Dave Mahaffey; creating a Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of 15% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are sourced from the estate just behind Meadowood Resort on prime real-estate with the vineyard farmed only by hand. A very pretty wine with earthy notes of leather, cassis, and herbs. Aging for 24 months in French oak barrels creates sprawling vanilla flavors while the fruit remains juicy and fresh. The wine is tied together by medium powered acid and tannins. |
