| Description: | I Clivi is a small estate bordering Slovenia and working solely with indigenous grape varieties. The Schioppettino is from Prepotto's marl soils of marine origin, it is fermented and matured in stainless. Psuedo barrel aromas of baking spice, sugar plums and orange zest are from the grape itself with red fruits and additional dark earthy flavors. Flavors of walnuts, black cherries and sautéed peppercorns are washed down by moderate tannins and refreshing acidity. |
