| Description: | All the vines of the Domaine have been in the family since the 18th century. The Companies C.Marey and Comte Liger-Belair were created in 1720 in Nuits-Saint-Georges and listed in the Lyon Stock Exchange in 1923. They were among the most important wine growing and trading houses in Burgundy. Confident in the quality of its harvests and in the one of its wines, the family has worked hard to enhance the Domaine in acquiring the best Cuvées and in taking care of their distribution both in France and abroad. 2.05 hectares of vines planted in 1944. Located in the southern part of the appellation, Les Saint-Georges is considered to be one of the most ancient climats, having been planted with vines as far back as the year 1000.
