| Description: | Transcontinental Rum Line 8 Year Old 2011 Panama Rum 750ml. Nose: Sweet but very closed off. Not a lot happening here. Sweet toffee and a hint of banana are all that really present themselves. Taste: Medium mouth feel, a faint prick of heat. Sweet vanilla, toffee, caramel and a hint of fruit. It's sweet, but naturally so. Papaya and banana. Finish: Short but fairly complex. That oak presence is here a bit more, with some pineapple, pepper and a nice custard component. |
