This is a classic ripasso, made from a brief drying of the grapes (much less than for an Amarone), and allowing the resulting wine to re-ferment on the pressed skins that were used for Amarone. James Suckling 93 Points - "Mixed berries on the nose with hints of dried herbs that turn to a light balsamic note on the palate, to accompany the sweet, crushed berries.
