Baricci owns 15 hectares of precious land north of Montalcino nestled perfectly between the town's hill and the Valdarbia plain. A cool and ventilated area, thanks to the Montalcino hill which protects from the sirocco to the south, a crossroads between the mistral, north and east winds. Montosoli has been a wine land for at least 5 centuries. The relationship between this hill and Sangiovese has its roots a few hundred years before the success of Brunello in the world.
