Linne Calodo 'Problem Child' Red, Paso Robles

Other Reds

Vintage: 2017
Description: 94 points                                                            Rare new release from Paso Robles cult winery Linne Calodo, Problem Child is a delicious Zinfandel-based blend. Limited.94 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "The Zinfandel-dominated 2017 Problem Child (there's 19% Syrah, 14% Graciano, and 3% Carignan) has a classic Zinfandel nose of spice red and black fruits, brambly herbs, cigar tobacco, and Asian spices. Ripe, full-bodied, and incredibly polished, it has sweet tannins, no hard edges, lots of richness and depth, and a great finish." If you are looking for Zinfandel, look no further. The Linne Calodo 2017 Problem Child is one of the best examples of Zinfandel in the whole state of California. As usual, the bold audacity of Zinfandel is tamed by skillful blending with Syrah, Carignan, and Graciano. It's like obedience school for the Problem Child, each grape helps develop the wine into a knowledgeable smart ass
