| Description: | "vieux Chenin". What makes this different than all the other Clarksburg Chenin? The Baranek Vineyard is the oldest in the Ava, and they were the first to plant grapes in Clarksburg in 1960. Super clean and fresh with green apples, pears, plantains and both yellow and white flowers. Picked at 22.1 brix, the wine has high natural acidity and a touch of yellow apple flavors, adding to the lees contact. Only 84 cases made. |
