Boasting a saturated purple/ruby hue as well as fabulous notes of blackcurrants, damp earth, freshly sharpened pencils, iron, and an almost meaty character, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a rich, concentrated, opulent mouthfeel, building yet perfectly ripe tannins, and a finish that won't quit. Its purity, concentration, balance, and elegance are world-class. It offers pleasure today (as do most 2019s) yet will won't hit its prime drink window for another 7-8 years and have three decades of longevity.".
