The blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot is very much Chianti in aromas and flavors with terroir driving the profile. Rain-soaked terra cotta tiles, leather and well-aged fruits of black currants, black cherries, plums and dried violets. Italy's trademark acidity streaks through the wine providing depth and freshness. |
