| Description: | The reserve speciale bordeaux rouge is made from a selection of wines from the best terroirs in bordeaux. Tastings are carried out all over the bordeaux region to find the most successful wines of the year with a view to creating blends in the tradition of the finest bordeaux that favour balance over woodiness. The wines selected are mainly from the entre-deux-mers. 2015 was characterized by a rather late bud break and rapid uniform flowering during the first two weeks of june in superb conditions with very low rainfall and slightly above average temperatures. July was very hot and dry with temperatures approaching heatwave levels between 30 june and 6 july and 20 mm of rain much like 2010. The onset of ripening (late july/early august) was fast and uniform. August and september suffered from cloudy spells whose effects on the vines varied enormously from region to region.
