| Description: | A lot of white wines are called Malvasia but this delightful dry white is made from the Malvazija Istriana grape variety native to the Istrian peninsula of Croatia. This crisp, unoaked white displays a slightly golden color. On the nose you find aromas of lemons and apples along with hints of apricots and peaches. There is some delicate spiciness. On the palate it is dry and medium-bodied with citrus, pear and apple flavors balanced by a refreshing minerality. The finish is long, citrus-y and slightly saline. Perfect with seafood, chicken breast or pasta with a creamy sauce. |
