| Description: | 94 Vm / 92-95 Jm / 91-94 Bh / 17++ Jr. The 2022 Vosne-Romané Aux Brûlées 1er Cru has a lilting bouquet with transparent redcurrant, raspberry and strawberry scents, as Clavelier says, ripened by the light rather than the heat. The palate is beautifully balanced with a silky texture, not a deep or powerful wine, but very precise with a touch of spice right on the finish. Drink over the next 15 years, possibly more. -- Neal Martin. Brûlées is sunny rather than hot, exposed to the sunshine but with cool airflow. More depth of colour, ruby style. A fine pleasing perfume, not too much of the hot flint. "Gourmandise and fraicheur" says Bruno, indicating the marriage of generosity with freshness. Note also the crisp finish on red fruit, which persists beyond the structure. In fact, very long. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted: November 2023.-Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Tasting note: A ripe but super-fresh nose freely offers its array of red cherry, currant, exotic tea, anise and a touch of sandalwood. The succulent, rich and sappy medium weight flavors brim with dry extract while displaying impressive power on the mineral-driven and palate soaking finish. This possess excellent development potential and is a wine that should drink well both young and with extended age. Outstanding.-Allen Meadows, Burghound. Cask sample. Deep, purple hue. Depth and concentration evident. Alluring floral notes. Bright acidity much more to the fore than weighty fruits.
