This is made from the Brachetto grape, traditionally used for sweet, lightly sparkling red wine. An extremely pretty nose of grapes, grape skins, roses, violets, strawberries, cinnamon, and licorice, with a creamy texture on the palate reminiscent of strawberry tarts and cream. Great, round, smooth texture, with a long finish. Will make you rethink grappa. |
