| Description: | Chris Pettinger has put together another vintage of esoteric whites from the Sierra Foothills, to which we wonder if there is better domestic white blend for the money. 26% Arneis, 22% Grenache Blanc, 15% Picpoul, 10% Sauvignon Blanc and 7% Vermentino. Aged in neutral oak with lively flavors and aromas of lemon/lime, prickly pear, white flowers, honeydew melon, and sunbaked pears. Mild orange citrus provides a roundness to the precise acidity that ties the wine together. |
