| Description: | Now owned by the esteemed House of Jadot, Domaine Prieur-Brunet was originally imported into the USA by our dad, Tom Murray. He had a long-standing relationship with former owner Madame Dominique Uny-Prieur and her late husband Claude. The original domaine traces its history back to 1804 and in 1955 became Domaine Prieur-Brunet when the two historic families of Meursault (Prieur) and Santenay (Brunet) joined in marriage. This wine was always a Bottle Shop favorite. A rich, full and terroir -driven red Burgundy offering vivid dark fruit and spice flavors, La Maladière is one of the prime premier cru sites in Santenay, and key reason for Jadot wanting to purchase the domaine. |
