Crafted from 85% Sangiovese, with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, this wine undergoes a brief 5 month aging process, utilizing a mix of new and old barrels, with a small portion in barriques, resulting in a fresh and approachable style. The grapes were cultivated on diverse soils including Galestro (a loose, marl-like schist), albarese (weathered sandstone from sedimentary limestone), and clay.
