| Description: | 94 JS / 94 Fs / 93 Vm / 17+ Jr. Striking note of fresh pomegranate and star fruit. Juicy and zesty with a blood orange freshness that is delightful to admire. Super-fresh finish with an energy that you wish could be put into batteries. The unfermented grape sweetness is already beautifully integrated. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink or hold. Screw cap.-James Suckling. Slate, gunpowder smoke, incense – a nose that focuses extremely on minerals. Also orange blossom and lemon zest. In the mouth, the wine has a quiet balance, sweetness dominating a little over acidity, but tactile minerality gives life and energy to the wine. Has large extract reserves! - Us, Falstaff. The 2022 Riesling Niederhäuser Klamm Kabinett is on volcanic soils of porphyry. This is a vineyard that used to belong to an extended family. It was repurchased and is now vinified as a single site. The nose is of serene citrus. The palate is rich like lemon oil, concentrated, flowing and mouth-watering. Lemon fills the mouth, serene, yet with an inherent playfulness. All the fruit plays first fiddle for now, but the stone underneath just waits its turn. The 2022 is glorious, balanced and bright. More svelte and juicy – and appealingly playful – than the Leistenberg this vintage, with a relaxed and balanced sweetness.
