| Description: | 91 pts Vinous The Nv Quartz Reef Méthode Traditionnelle Rosé has a clean onion-skin hue. The bouquet is backward at first and demands coaxing, revealing light strawberry, sherbet and blackcurrant leaf scents. A slightly musky note emerges with aeration. The palate is well balanced, offering lovely light red cherry and orange zest notes, a keen thread of acidity and a brisk, saline finish. Excellent. 91 pts Wine Advocate June 2021 The flamingo-pink Nv Methode Traditionelle Rose is all Pinot Noir from the winery's Bendigo estate vineyard. Hints of strawberries and stone fruit join citrus and herb shadings on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is crisp and refreshing, with a dosage of only four grams of sugar per liter. It's not vintage dated, but this batch appears to be based on the 2017 harvest, as the lot number is Lr2017. 2021-2025 |
